Topic: real time data logging

I am hoping I can use this software to record time temp profiles from my kiln. Im using a ad conveter and a basic stamp to send serial data  1 start bit 8 data bits 1 stop no parity.can you imagine a macro I could use to record a temperature reading once per second. alternatively I have some software that records the data in excel. can this software graph the data from a excel table. pardon my ignorance im a potter not a programmer  thanks Jim

Graph was not meant for real time logging of data, but it should be possible with the beta version of Graph 4.4, which has some scripting functionality. Unfortunately there is no documentation on it yet.

You can copy data from Excel into Graph either using the clipboard or by importing the data from a comma separated file.
