Topic: Batch processing of graphics files

Dear Ivan. We are old (ancient) users of Golden Software Grapher and create plt files by Grapher from point coordinates in off line mode, which are then visible through viewers or printable in virtually any format only by modifying the relevant point coordinate data, *.dat files. Does anything similar exist in Graph. Is it possible to use Graph to create grf files (because these are the files produced by Graph) in an off line mode, or to merge the existing grf files with the new point coordinate data by using Graph? Kind regards Nikola

Re: Batch processing of graphics files

I am not sure what you are asking. What do you mean by off line mode? There are different ways to merge data. You can for example paste data into an existing grf file or import another grf file.

Re: Batch processing of graphics files

Thank you for your quick reply. We intended to edit the grf file by use of a small (Fortran or Basic) program, however, thought that such a procedure might be inbedded in Graph. Do you have any scripts to recommend? Kind regards Nikola

Re: Batch processing of graphics files

The beta version of Graph 4.4 supports scripting through Python, though there is not much documentation yet. But there are a few examples installed with the beta version.
