Topic: Value(s) of x when y is zero

Hi, please help me if you can - or point me in the right direction... is there a way that I can display or find out the value of x when y is zero, in order to solve equations? I've used the area feature of Graph  to home in on the correct figure, up to where the curve cuts the x-axis. Is there a way that Graph can tell me what the figure/s is/are? If I have missed something (in the manual, for example) please forgive me!
Thank you - Rachel.

Re: Value(s) of x when y is zero

Select Calc|Evaluate in the menu and choose x-axis as Snap to. Now to you can click in the graphing area to find the nearest crossing with the x-axis.
