How to rescale the x axis (multilpy by a constant)?

Ctrl+Home and Ctrl+End will zoom in and out on the x-axis. If you hold down Shift at the same time it will zoom in/out in larger steps. If you right click on the toolbar, you can customize the toolbar and find buttons for zooming in/out on the x-axis.
