Topic: Ellipse instead of circle
Hello
I typed in the equation of a circle: x^2+y^2=9,
But it graphed an ellipse, not a perfect circle
I typed this to an online grapher which gave me circle, so i think my equation is correct.
can you help me? thanks

From the FAQ at http://www.padowan.dk/faq/:
Q: Why do circles look like ellipses?
A: That is probably because the axes are not equally scaled. You can either change the size of the window until the axes scales equally or select Zoom → Square in the menu to change the y-axis to scale equal to the x-axis.
