Topic: How to know y value by giving x, on trend line?

Hi, I am a newbie to this software. And am a biology guy, so need just plotting a standard graph and knowing unknown 'y' from known 'x' from the standard 'trend line'. I could successfully plot the trend line. But the question is...

How to know y value by giving x, on trend line?

Nee it urgent,  please someone kindly help me out.

Select the trendline in the list to the left and choose Calc|Evaluate in the menu. Now you can enter an x-coordinate and get the y-coordinate.

Thank you, I think the f(x) is the y coordinate, shown in the 'evaluate' window on the left pane.
