Topic: What is this capital "E" stands for?!! -6.10952662E-08*x^4+0.00047354*

Its giving me a function of y=-6.10952662E-08*x^4+0.00047354*x^3-1.37541502*x^2+1774.38596066*x-8.57881825E+05, but I don't know is "E" stands for? URGENT!!!
p/s: This is a polynomial function.

It is exponential notation. -6.10952662E-08 means -6.10952662 X 10^-8.
