Topic: viewing complex functions

Hi Ivan, I need to view the function e^(i*t), with the real part on x-axis and the imaginary part on the y-axis, and as you wrote in the help section I can do it like this:

x(t)=re(e^(i*t)), y(t)=im(e^(i*t)).

However as these functions does not have derivatives, i can't evaluate them.
What am I doing wrong?

Thanks in advance

Re: viewing complex functions

You are not doing anything wrong. Unfortunately a bug has crept into Graph 4.4 causing an error in the power function when a number has an imaginary part. I wonder how I could have missed this in my testing. But I have fixed it now in the beta version:
