Topic: can't see the x-axis when y values are numerically large

Dear readers :
i have a slight niggle type of problem with viewing  curves, lets say as in my last posting, point pairs that have numerical diffeences of 1000 times.

Those coordinates
the range of x values        0 - 100
the range of Y values 1400- 1550

If the Y axis covers  -10  to 1600, then

a) You can see the x axis 0 to 110
b)  you can see the y axis  bunched into a straight line of red dots

To remedy this you restrict the y axis range  to 1400 - 1550
then.

a) you can see the desired curve
b) but, the x axis has disappeared

There may well be an option to keep the x-axis visible at all times but if not, could some good guru  explain how  in such situations, you can see the invisible axis ( x or Y) ?

Bye and many thanks.
Fred

Re: can't see the x-axis when y values are numerically large

In the Edit|Axes dialog under the Settings tab you can set Axes style to Boxed to ensure that you can always see both axes.

Many thanks for pointing me to the  pertinent options.
For methis is  the end of this thread
