Topic: Import/Insert Point Series

Is there an easy way to use: Function | Insert Point Series
where the series is contained in a multi-column file.
The series can be graphed by using File | Import Series
and selecting the appropriate columns, but then one
does not have the facility to choose an interpolation method
as is available with Insert Point Series whilst the latter requires
external manipulation of the data to insert the data.
For example, select and create a file of the x an y columns and
pass the contents of the new file to the clipboard, which can then
be pasted into the insert columns.

You can use Ctrl+V in the Insert point series dialog to paste points from the clipboard into the table. Alternatively you can right click on the table and select Import from file to import data points directly into the dialog.
