Topic: Learning how to use Graph

I am new to Graph, and want to re-create the attached trigonometric graph as a learning exercise.  I am having trouble coming up with the right equations.  Would appreciate some examples.

You can use the polar function r(t)=1 or the parametric function x(t)=cos(t), y(t)=sin(t) to plot the unit circle.
