Topic: Resolution of a line.

Hi there,

First of all, I realy like this program. I use it to make plots for my school pappers.
However, when I have a plot copied to word. The line is very low in resolution.
Like, when you draw a straight line in paint, it is nice and smooth, but when you do it with an angle, it becomes staircase like.
Is there any way I can change the quality of the line?

I checked the FAQ, all I found was the point on asymptotes, where you can increase the amount of steps.
This however only increases the perciseness of the graph, not the smoothness of the line.

Also, it would be nice if there would be an option to make the X- & Y-axis booth the same lenght.
I do not just mean from -5 to 5. But when -5 to 5 is 200pixels, that booth the X- & Y-axis are 200pixels.
So that when you copy the picture, it is a square instead of a rectangle.

Thanks in advance,

Re: Resolution of a line.

I am currently working on improving the graphics quality by adding antialiasing of lines. So you can expect the next version to have better quality.

You can use Zoom|Square to adjust the y-axis so one unit will look the same on both axes. Else you will have to resize the window yourself to make the graphing area a square.

Thanks for your reply,
Looking forward to the next version.
