Isn't possible that a grid can be displayed instead of only axes.

You can use a trick by setting The y-axis cross at x= and The x-axis cross at y= in the Edit|Axes to a large number.

I think I answered the opposite of what you asked. There is a Show grid check box in the Edit|Axes dialog you can use to show grid lines.
