Topic: change the scale in axes

Im trying to change the scale of the axes.. I want the numbers either more dense or more scattered.
I don't mean to zoom in or zoom out!
Actually I want the x-axis to increase in thousands and the y-axis in hunderds.
Is this possivle?

In the Edit|Axes dialog you can change the range and units of both axes.
