Topic: Sin equation

i am trying to graph a sign equation with transformations and i am having trouble getting the program to graph it properly.
the equation is -10.5sin(3.14/6(x-10))+46.5
When i graph it on my calculator it looks like a sin graph the program is giving it tons of peaks and it doesn't go through any of the data points.

Re: Sin equation

I would think that your calculator interprets the function as -10.5sin(3.14/6*(x-10))+46.5, where (x-10) belongs to numerator. Graph interprets this as -10.5sin(3.14/6/(x-10))+46.5, where (x-10) belongs to denominator.

Re: Sin equation

Yes,I am agree with you Pin.

The calculator interprets the
function as -10.5sin(3.14/6*(x-10))+46.5,
where (x-10) belongs to numerator.
You should try this in a update calculator.

I hope your problem will be solved.
