Topic: Trigonometric Integral

Hello. Thanks for the wonderful graph program which I have been using for a long time. My question is about the attached graph of a trigonometric integral

int dx/(1+2cosx) from x=0 to x=3pi

As far as I know, that integral does not converge when it is attempted to solve. May I ask how the result appears as -5.236 when I click to calculate the relevant area?

Thanks and regards.

P.S. WolframAlpha cannot show anything.

Re: Trigonometric Integral

In the beta version, I get a 'No result found' error - are you using the beta or the stable version?

Re: Trigonometric Integral

Thanks for the reply. I have the version 4.3, Build 384.

Re: Trigonometric Integral

You might want to download the beta version (4.4 501) instead: http://padowan.dk/graph/Beta.php. Please let me know if this solved your problem.
