You can add a 'circle' marker at the point of discontinuity.

To plot the square of x for all values except 2, you can use: f(x)=if(x <> 2, sqr(x))
However it will look the same as f(x)=sqr(x)

How can I plot the following function?

y=SQR(x), where X is not equal to 2
