Topic: linear trend line
Thank you for a great program. I use it in an advanced high school physics class. One thing I can't seem to get it to do correctly is this. I have entered a point series to plot which it does nicely, but when I try to add a linear trend line, it plots the trend line incorrectly. However if I use the polynomial fit and ignore the quadratic term it looks pretty good. The trend line it gives me when I use "linear" is a near horizontal line and not even close to what it should be. What am I doing wrong? Thank you for you help.
